About the Vegan Virgin
Yes, I’m a real person. I live in Canada but travel frequently (19 countries and counting!) with my husband (an omnivore) and our dog (a carnivore, ha!). I love exploring new cultures and trying their (vegan) cuisine. While I live a healthy active lifestyle, I am not immune to cravings – my guilty pleasure is Oreo’s.
My journey began in 2016 when I became a vegetarian and my commitment was cemented near the end of 2017 when I went vegan. I’m still relatively new to this (hence the handle!) and I’m guaranteed to make mistakes along the way so please, be kind. I started this blog because I am really in love with the vegan lifestyle and I want to help others who might be where I was a year ago. I delight in sharing amazing recipes that I’ve found online (trust me, I’ve tried many) and nothing would make me happier than sharing what I’ve learned. I also know that there are people out there who have a lot to teach me so I hope that we can learn and grow together.
